"We can’t say enough about our trips with Josh & Liz from Undersea Productions. From the excellent research, preparation, and selection of locations and charters; to first class surface, dive, and critter spotting; to fabulous presentations of photos and videos and the sharing of experience, technique, and friendship. We would not travel to these great destinations and dive with anyone else."

Looking for some kick-arse diving? Look no further than the Solomon Islands. Endless coral reefs, stunning walls, bucket-loads of pelagics, weird and wacky critters, plus WWII history and wrecks... 14 days aboard the Bilikiki

We'll be offering our photo/video workshops to anyone that wants to capture some great images – and with all that variety and potential for practice and critique, you're sure to come home with some very happy snaps. This departure date is fast approaching! Find out more...
AUSTRALIA
June 2011
![[loggerhead turtle]](http://i10.cmail1.com/ei/y/38/DE6/65A/193224/csimport/loggerhead_20.jpg)
Mention "Australia" to a diver and, "It's on my list" is the standard response. Sadly, many people that visit Australia's Great Barrier Reef only experience it as a day or overnight trip, and don't get out to see where the real magic happens. We don't want that happening to our well-travelled friends, so we've put together a cracking 10-day itinerary taking in all the highlights of the Far Northern section of the GBR and its surrounds... watch the video teaser
You'll swim with minke whales, dive the best of the Ribbon Reefs from Steve's Bommie to the Cod Hole, and get out to the mind-blowing Coral Sea for big fish and shark action. You'll leave with a great overall appreciation of the best diving our neck of the woods has to offer. Ours is a custom-built, one-off itinerary that you're unlikely to find anywhere else. As such, this trip is already close to fully booked. Drop us a line
to secure yourself one of the last remaining cabins.
TONGA
July-August 2012
![[whale & snorkeller]](http://i1.cmail1.com/ei/y/38/DE6/65A/193224/csimport/fluke_21.jpg)
Many of you know that we worked on NAI'A – Fiji's finest liveaboard – for more than 3 years, and in each of those years we were lucky enough to spend the southern winter months cruising Tonga's vast waters in search of the most special of beasts: the humpback whale. It was a highlight of each calendar year with NAI'A and we've been itching to get ourselves back there ever since.
So we've now organised a charter, it's a rare 11-day itinerary to give you the best chance at that once-in-a-lifetime multiple-hour encounter with mother nature's most wonderful creature. Watch this video and imagine yourself in one of those shots... Swimming with humpback whales – experiences just don't get any more memorable than this!
Our Tonga trip isn't advertised on our website yet, we're doing a pre-announcement right here to our newsletter subscribers. Yes, we know, 2012 is ages away... BUT, Tonga's peak whale season lasts just 2 months each year – so spaces are limited and they fill fast. Do not miss this one! Ask us for more details.
INDONESIA
October-November 2012
![[sweetlips]](http://i2.cmail1.com/ei/y/38/DE6/65A/193224/csimport/sweetlips-school_22.jpg)
If there's one country hogging the headlines of the world's diving media, Indonesia is it. Certainly not surprising considering it's the centre of biodiversity for tropical marine species, and each new island, channel, harbour or bay "discovered" seems to bring with it a truckload of new species of fish and critters.
We've already taken you to Lembeh, Komodo and Raja Ampat. Now we have two more destinations for you to explore. First up, you'll head to gorgeous Bali for 5-7 days of land-based diving. Then, you're out to sea for 10 days of glorious liveaboard adventures in the stunning Alor/Flores region. Join us for either segment, or stick around and do both back-to-back. These trips aren't yet advertised on our website, so be the first to drop us a line
and we'll put you at the top of the guest list.
Know anyone else that might be interested in joining these dive trips? You can easily
forward this newsletter to your dive buddies.

Revamped website in the works
We're undergoing a bit of a facelift. We've changed our much loved logo, and we've got some clever web boffins playing around with our website to automate a few things and make the whole user experience a little more streamlined. Come July you'll see the new functionality in full swing, with photos and stock footage being added to our online shop, and plenty more videos, photos and useful tidbits to explore.
Got any suggestions for our new site? Now's the time to get your requests in, and we'll do our best to get them for you.
In the meantime, here's a sneak preview of our new logo... As much as we love our humpback whale, we needed an image that would more easily scale down for small work, such as DVD spines and image watermarking. Kudos to Josiah Jost of Siah Design
for a logo that brings together the elements of what we are: "marine life" and "image making". Josiah's design process, from early sketches to final concept, is outlined on his blog - it's an eye-opening look at the evolution of a logo.
