Bushfire donations

Support for the bushfire victims

Thinking of purchasing one of our marine life DVD's sometime soon? Well now's as good a time as any, because we're donating 100% of profits from this coming week's DVD sales to the the RSPCA Victoria and the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal. So visit our online DVD shop or tell your friends before the end of Sunday, February 22nd.

The bushfires in Victoria were declared Australia's worst disaster. At least 180 people lost their lives, and thousands lost their homes. The Australian Red Cross is providing food, medical care, personal support and temporary accommodation in 18 evacuation centres.

Quarter of a million pets and livestock died, and billions of wildlife perished. The RSPCA Victoria is providing emergency treatment to injured animals, and working to reunite lost pets with their families.

Weekend photo/video workshop in Moreton Bay

[underwater videographer]Due to popular demand, plans are in the works for our first underwater photography and videography workshop. It will be sometime in June or July, aboard Big Cat Reality, in Moreton Bay — just outside Brisbane. You'll get a good introduction to basic techniques — including composition, wide angle and macro, shooting models, and shooting wrecks. And with a whole weekend of diving, you'll have time to practice your skills and capture some great images to take home with you. Let us know if you're interested, and we'll keep you updated as plans get finalized.

Join us for 10 glorious days of world-class diving (including the famous Wolf and Darwin Islands) and close-encounter land tours.

[sealions]This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a longer liveaboard trip than normally allowed by the Galapagos Park authorities. Watch a video preview on our website and contact us for full details.

Komodo footage online

[porcelain crab]Komodo, Indonesia. Lush reefs, bizarre critters, schools of fish, majestic manta rays... and volcanic bubbles popping through the sand on a couple of dives. A few months back we were diving there with good friends. Watch the edited video highlights or browse all our Komodo footage online.
